Business Class

Champagne:

Beaumont des crayerse
Ripe and toasty on the nose. In the mouth, rich and full of biscuit, mineral and nutty flavours with a firm and vibrant palate feel. Weighty and full through the finish. Very generous with a fine mousse.

White Wine:

La Baume Selection 2003

This wine is from the Languedoc- Roussillon, one of France’s up and coming wine regions and is produced by La Baume, one of its most dynamic winemakers. Although the grape varieties used in the final blend vary with each vintage, the 2003 offers an intriguing blend of 60% Chardonnay with 20% each of Marsanne and Roussanne. Although these latter two grapes will be less familiar to most people, they are actually key ingredients in the best white wines from the Rhone Valley region, such as Hermitage.

The result is an exotically flavoured wine, with lemon, quince and brioche aromas and a hint of spice, making it a good match for Arabic and Asian cuisine, as well as richer pasta dishes.

Rutherford Ranch Chardonnay 2004
A classic Californian Chardonnay from the prestigious vineyards of the Napa Valley, this wine has won 5 Gold Medals in national and international wine competitions. The 2003 vintage in the Napa Valley was well suited to producing fine Chardonnay, with a cool Autumn following a warm Summer, allowing the grapes to fully ripen, before being hand harvested. The wine was matured for 11 months in a mixture of French and American oak.

A vibrant, buttery wine with apple and apricot flavours, it has the power to stand up to richer pasta dishes, in addition to seafood and chicken.

Red Wine

Domaine Tournon Mount Benson Shiraz 2003,
Michel Chapoutier
This is Australian Shiraz with a twist! The winemaker is Michel Chapoutier, world famous for the stunning wines he produces in the Rhone Valley region of France. Many of his greatest wines, such as his Cote Rotie and Hermitage are made from Syrah, known in Australia as Shiraz.

Chapoutier has brought his unrivalled expertise in making world class wine from this grape to the Domaine Tournon estate in South Australia. The result is a different style of Shiraz, with trademark spicy, peppery aromas combined with the finesse and elegance that is the hallmark of his Rhone wines. As well as being well suited to red meat, this wine works well with most cheese.

Chateau Reysson 2002, Haut Medoc
A traditionally crafted red Bordeaux, the 67 hectares of Reysson’s vineyards are situated on the hillsides of the Haut Medoc, the small strip of land in the Gironde peninsula that is home to most of the regions best wines. Chateau Reysson’s commitment to quality is demonstrated by low yields, mature vines aged between 25 and 35 years and an oak maturation of 16-18 months.

This award winning wine is made from the classic Bordeaux blend, 57% Cabernet Sauvignon with 43% Merlot. The perfect choice with grilled and roast red meat, and most varieties of cheese.
