From 16 June to 31 August 2008, Gulf Air Frequent flyers can enjoy a 50% reduction on the number of miles required for any redemption flights or upgrades they purchase for travel during the same period on the Bahrain/Shanghai or Shanghai/Bahrain sectors only.

For example, an Economy Class return trip from Bahrain to Shanghai will cost 27,000 miles instead of the normal 54,000 miles. For an upgrade from Business to First Class one way, it will be just 13,500 miles instead of the normal 27,000 miles required.

If members do not have quite enough miles to claim the reward they want, they can purchase top-up miles for just US$ 25 per 1,000 miles.

We are also waiving the normal redemption deadlines for our Silver and Blue members, so as long as the redemption is booked up to 24 hours prior to the flight, there is no need to pay the normal redemption fees for quick redemptions.
